There are many things one should know about the exams that began on 15–22 July 2025. A few of them are listed below The very mention of the word Board exam Board exams are here after a brief hiatus of 8 years. The CBSE had bought into CCE (Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation) method that had given a choice to pick the CBSE board examination for their final examination or the School-based exam. In the year 2022, CBSE revoked the School-based exams and announced that from the year 2025, the Board exam would be made compulsory as earlier. This is to bring back the competitive spirit of the students. The board exam was scrapped before stating reasons like the stress factor of the student; now to prepare the students to face the future boldly, the training has to begin at a much earlier stage. Moreover, there was this need to show the CBSE board ka parinam as the other states of India are gearing up for a change in their board syllabus and examining style. The exception is given this time The students chose to prefer the school-based exams mostly. This system had a mark split up like; 20 marks for internal assessment and 80 marks for the final examination. There was a condition that one needs to secure a pass mark in both the internal assessment as well as a final examination. For this year alone, that condition has been given an exemption as the students are not used to the earlier pattern of examination. Draft a preparation strategy for each subject to score well Since the students are going to take up the board exams after a long time, students are perplexed by the CBSE results and how they should prepare for the exams. Every subject needs a different strategy to score better marks. For example, this is the strategy one should follow for Science to score well. Though the one mark might look less time-consuming for writing down the answers; they consume a lot of time to think about it. Thus, you might lose a lot of time. Better to start with the 5 marks questions, then the 3 marks questions, then the 2 marks questions, and finally the 1-mark questions. While you are following this method to write the answers, make sure that you don’t mix up the questions and put the right question number. Science is one exam that pulls down the final score of the candidate every time, and CBSE 10th class result 2025 would be no exception.   CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Statistics The total number of registered candidates for class 10 is approx 22 lakh, out of which 9.50 lakh are female students, 12.50 lakh are male candidates and 10 students have opted for the general category. The exam is conducted in 4,453 centers across India and 78 Centers abroad. 4510 differently-abled candidates have appeared for the Class 10 board exam.   How to check the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam results 2025 The CBSE 10th result 2025 is expected to be released by June 2025. Several methods have been designed for the ones who wish to check their results. Due to the delay in the board exams, the results too got delayed last year. This year the board has decided and has given a word that there would not be any glitches in the publication of the results. Last year, the results were released region-wise. One is probably around January or February and the second one is conducted around the month of June or July. You can obviously get more details about this exam on the site of UPSC. If we talk about the candidates that are eligible for this exam, then those who are more than 16 years of age and less than 20 years can apply for this exam. CDS : You can Give CDS Exam To join indian army after 12th CDS is the exam that candidates need to appear in if they want to join the Indian Army. Those who have completed their graduation are eligible for this exam. The details about the streams and other things could be found on the official website. However, if we talk about the age of the candidates, then it should be above 18 years. Just like the NDA entrance, this too is conducted two times in the year. One clear instruction that every candidate should follow about this exam is that you cannot fill the form of CDS or can apply for this if you do not have the graduation degree. This clearly means that a 12th passed candidate is not eligible for it. Territorial Army The entry here is not that difficult, in comparison to the previous two levels. All those who are graduated with good marks could apply for this exam. If we talk about the age of the candidates that could apply for this exam, then it should be a minimum of 18 years and could go till 42 years. TES : University Entry Scheme To be specific, the candidates who want to apply for this exam should have passed their intermediate exams in the science stream and that two with 70% marks or above. More precisely, the subjects you are taking in your 12th should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The students who are from the science stream, but have taken up Biology, instead of Mathematics are not eligible for this. The age limit for this level is from 16 ½ years to 19 ½ years. Like the NDA and CDS exams, this form too comes two times in a year. A cut off list is released every time the candidates apply for it. You could actually find out more about this exam by visiting the official website. TGC : University Entry Scheme The first thing that is common between this level of entry and the previous one is that both are conducted two times in a year. This is actually a great opportunity for the engineering graduate students, as this entry is specifically for them. The candidates must have done their B.tech in any notified stream. There are many engineering students who want to join Indian army. So, if you too are one of those, then you should definitely go for this one. UES : University Entry Scheme UES stands for University Entry Scheme. This is again a direct entry procedure, which comes once in a year. The notification regarding this entry comes in the month of August or September. This again is for engineering students only. The one, who has completed his or her B.tech or is in the final year of it, should apply for this level of entry in the Indian army. One notable part about this entry is that does not come every year, so you will have to check about it on the official website. You can also get more details related to it, on the website. SSC Tech for Men or Women This is again an entry level that is designed especially for engineering students. There are separate entry levels for male and female candidates. The SSC tech Men is for male candidates and SSC Tech Women is for female candidates. Now, the candidates should have done their final degree of B.tech till the date the forms are released.
